The CENTRE FOR TOURISM TRAINING was set up in 2002 and is the result of a Leonardo da Vinci pilot project, which was carried out between April 2004 and April 2006.

The CENTRE FOR TOURISM TRAINING promotes a form of training that combines theoretical with practical education. It offers a modern, dynamic and flexible programme of vocational and education training in consonance with the needs and requirements of an internationally competitive education system.
The qualifications offered are guaranteed by the collaboration with EU training institutions, like:

  1. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marseille-Provence (France)
  2. Umbria Training Centre (Italy)

The centre will function according to a European curricular menu and the competences formed will be mutually recognised by the partner institutions.

The CENTRE FOR TOURISM TRAINING seeks:

  • to offer theoretical and practical training in tourism both as initial training and further refreshment courses,
  • to offer counselling and guidance in the areas of tourism and regional development,
  • to facilitate access to domain-specific resource materials.

The Centre is endowed of a rich and update documentation centre/library, teaching room, computer room for simulations and practical activities.
