The no
profit
CULTURAL ASSOCIATION UMBRIA TRAINING CENTER
was founded in 1994 by a team of experts in tourism,
vocational training, local sustainable development
and human resources management.

|
OBJECTIVES
The aim of the UTC is to foster innovation,
development and change in the people and in the
organisation through the promotion and
implementation of studies, research, vocational
training activities, cultural exchanges and social
activities, integrated actions for local
development, meetings and conferences, publishing.
A motivated group of human resource managers,
vocational training programme planners and managers,
trainers enables to act scientifically and flexibly.

STRATEGY
The Umbria Training Center develops projects for
companies, public bodies, schools and associations
through custom made services thank to a team of
national and international experts and consultants
and to a network of national and international
partner organisations.

|
The certification of the management system according
to the
UNI EN
ISO 9001:2000 for
drawing-up, implementation and management of
vocational training, sustainable development and
research projects guarantees the results’ quality
and the efficiency and the effectiveness of the
actions.

|
SECTORS
The Umbria Training Center gained a lot of
experience in planning, management and evaluating
projects in the framework of EU Initiatives:
Leonardo Da Vinci (exchanges, placements, pilot
projects and language competencies), Socrates,
Youth, Employment NOW, Adapt, Leader II, Equal,
Agenda 21.
With the support of the ESF, the UTC has carried out
vocational training actions aimed to prevent the
school abandonment, to upgrade the workers’ skills,
to promote the e-learning, to foster the sustainable
tourism development, to support the businesses’
setting up, to promote the innovation and
competition in tourism businesses.
The Umbria Training Center is focused on tourism,
hospitality industry, catering and gastronomy, rural
tourism, local planning, rural development,
biological agriculture.

ITALIAN PARTNERS
The Umbria Training Center collaborates with
provinces, municipalities, local bodies,
universities, enterprises’ consortia, cooks
associations, tour operators and vocational training
organisations.
